NPIR IMS-SUAT-01

This  (NPIR) Negative Pressure Isolation Room with a built-in air-purification system can treat or quarantine suspected or confirmed patients in the event of an air-borne contagious diseases.

Standard Operating Procedure

1. Must wear PRE / Personal Protect Equipment

2. Anti-contamination clothing, face mask over KF94, face goggle (glasses), rubber gloves, working gloves

3. Wear rubber gloves and then working gloves

4. Execute detox spraying to air inlet during designated time / Biosafety Technology Standard

- During maintenance, such as filter change, etc., use peroxide, which is harmless to human body.

- The concentration of peroxide should be under 5 ~ 35%.

5. Remove entire cover of the Negative Pressure Isolation Device.

6. Place it inside a plastic bag and seal the entrance after removing the filter.

7. Attach a new filter

8. Execute leakage inspection after attaching the filter.(PAO Test) / Biosafety Technology Standard - Leakage rate should be under 0.05%.

10. Attach the entire cover.

11. Execute #4’s detox spray once again.

12. . Reuse or discard the tools (screwdriver, etc.) after sterilization.

13. After completing the task, perform the decontamination with PPE.

14. After removing PPE, seal it in a plastic bag and dispose it by medical waste category.

15. After cleaning up, take a shower immediately. (wash hands with soap and running water when sanitizing hands and taking a shower)
